Unitech possesses a powerful competitive advantage in the oil and gas exploration process. Using our proprietary digital well log database and sophisticated pattern recognition system covering virtually all of the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin, we perform tasks that are simply not practical for those without access to our system. We routinely search hundreds of townships and tens-of-thousands of well logs seeking bypassed oil and gas on a formation-specific basis.   We measure in days the tasks that others would not even attempt due to the size and complexity of the job.   By trading our competitive advantage in return for non-promoted participation rights from our select JV partners, we gain will access to their combined intellectual and operational expertise without much of the cost associated with such capability. This “thin” operation model is designed to allow a higher than average level of profitability for both Unitech and its JV partners.   To our knowledge, no other company can offer this competitive advantage.
