Gregory J. Leia, Director and President. Calgary, Alberta.  Mr. Leia is the owner of Batoche Resources Ltd., a private oil and gas exploration company which has acquired mineral rights in Texas.  He was the founding officer and director of Batoche Energy Corp which amalgamated with Testudo Oil & Gas Exploration Ltd. to form Antler Creek Energy Corp (now known as Pinecrest Energy Inc.), a publicly listed company on the Toronto Venture Exchange (Symbol PRY).  Antler Creek had acquired and developed Bakken formation lands in SE Saskatchewan, Canada. Mr. Leia, B.Comm LLB  has been practising law in Edmonton and Calgary, Alberta for 28 years, specializing as a solicitor in the area of corporate and securities law. 

 

Gerald L/ Roe, Director. Calgary, Alberta   Mr. Roe is a Director and Chairman of the GasFrac Board. Since November 2007,  Mr. Roe has been an independent businessman.  Mr. Roe has over 44 years experience in the upstream oil and gas industry. From January 2005 to November 2007, Mr. Roe was the Chief Operating Officer of Oilexco Incorporated, an oil and gas company that was listed on the TSX and the London Stock Exchange. Between May 2004 and January 2005, Mr. Roe was the Vice-President, Operations for Oilexco Incorporated. From 2001 to May 2004, Mr. Roe was the President of Orca Petroleum Inc., an oil and gas company that was listed on the Exchange. Since October 2003, Mr. Roe has been a director of Boxxer Gold Corp., a mining company listed on the Exchange and since May 2009 he has been the Chief Operating Officer of Velo Energy Inc., an oil and gas company listed on the Exchange. Mr. Roe received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 1965 from the Montana State University.

 

Randolph Aldridge, Director.  San Antonio, Texas.  Mr. Aldridge has over 35 years of diversified engineering, marketing and management experience in the energy complex. He has served as a director of several companies, both public and private, including Terasen Inc., a publicly traded Vancouver, Canada headquartered pipeline and utility business (acquired by Houston’s Kinder Morgan in 2005), Abraxas LLC (an affiliate of Abraxas Petroleum) from 2007 to 2009, and Husky Oil Holdings and Husky Oil Toledo, subsidiaries of Husky Energy of Calgary, Canada from March 2008 to present.  From 1980 to 2003, Mr. Aldridge served in a number of project management, marketing and leadership positions with Koch Industries, a diversified, privately held energy and trading company.  In 1998 he led the initial public offering of Koch Pipelines, LP (the company’s Canadian pipeline business) and served as its Chairman until October 2002. He was President of Koch Petroleum Canada, Chairman of True North Energy Corp and overall leader of Koch’s other Canadian businesses, including its very successful exploration and production group. He was on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers and the Board of Directors, Alberta Chamber of Resources.  From 1995 to 1998 he was President of Koch Oil Co., US and Koch Oil International in Wichita, KS. Koch was the one of the largest crude oil purchasing and gathering company in the United States with trading offices in London, Houston and Singapore.  Mr. Aldridge was a US Navy officer and carrier based pilot during the Vietnam War.  Mr. Aldridge has a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MS degree in International Management Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is presently involved with a number of non-profits and service organizations. 

 

Steve Price, Director and VP Engineering. Calgary, Alberta. Mr. Price is a professional engineer, has been President of Price Engineering Ltd., an engineering consulting company providing technical and managerial expertise to the energy sector, from 1995 to the present. Mr. Price has over 28 years experience in the fields of engineering and management, including corporate operations, evaluations, and facilities design and operations. Mr. Price received his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Manitoba in 1976, and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologist and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA). Mr. Price is also a past Vice-Presidents of HCO Energy Ltd., a past Vice-President of Bralorne Resources and a past Manager of Ranchmen’s Resources Ltd., all oil and gas issuers that are or were listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

 

Jim Ross, Director. Calgary, Alberta.  Mr. Ross graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geography and Geology and a Diploma in Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University. Mr. Ross is President and Founder of Dalriada Capital Corp, a private equity firm. Prior to founding Dalriada, Mr. Ross was Senior Managing Director and Calgary Branch Manager for Jennings Capital Inc., a Calgary based national investment dealer.  Mr. Ross has 29 years of investment industry experience

Jim Colvin, Operations Manager. Uvalde, Texas.  Mr. Colvin is a graduated from of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering.  Mr. Colvin began his oil and gas career with Halliburton in 1998 where he was responsible for drilling, completion and work-over operations from 7000 ft to 18,000 ft throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and the Gulf Coast.  Mr. Colvin played an active role in the identification and exploitation of development and exploration locations for Halliburton clients. From 2000 to 2009, Mr. Colvin was associated with Acock Engineering & Associates based out of the Houston office. From 2009, Mr. Colvin has been the President of Energy First Engineering & Consulting, LLC, a private engineering and consulting business engaged in the oil and gas business.

 

Brian Stainthorpe, Calgary, Alberta   Mr. Stainthorpe has a Completions/Operations background with 25 years of oil and gas experience. Mr. Stainthorpe has been involved with the thermal, heavy oil operations and conventional gas and oil operations and stimulations. From 1997 to 2003, Mr. Stainthorpe worked for Marathon Canada (formerly Tarragon Oil and Gas).  He conducted field operations between northern British Columbia and western Saskatchewan. This includes Emergency Response Team Leader and primary call for well control situations.  Mr. Stainthorpe worked on high pressure deep directional wells, horizontal wells, sour operations, gas and oil stimulations, heavy oil production in both cold operations and SAGD wells.  Since 2003, Mr. Stainthorpe provided completion expertise and project management skills to several projects for Petrobakken Energy Ltd. and Petrobank Energy and Resources Ltd.  At Petrobank, he was involved with the development of horizontal completions in the Bakken formation and Montney formations which involved open hole multi-stage fracture stimulation (nonconventional gas production) from shale plays.  With Petrobakken (a Petrobank company), Mr. Stainthorpe was involved with the development of the Horn River and Cardium plays by bringing proven open hole multi-stage fracture stimulation practices into  the area.

 

Keith Wilvers Weyburn, Saskatchewan.   Owner of Les Lee Consultants Ltd. (Completions Consultants)   Mr. Wilvers supervises a field staff of up to 30 completions consultants.  He is responsible for preparation of completion plans and supervision of the completions.  He has considerable experience in different formations, different tools, different sands, fluids, pressures, temperatures and techniques.  Mr. Wilvers has over 20 years in the industry.

 

Sharon MacLeod, Calgary, Alberta  Mrs MacLeod has a PhD in Geology .   Mrs. MacLeod has 25 years of experience primarily in western Canada. Mrs. MacLeod runs a geological consulting company, Sightline Geoconsulting from 1996 to present. Mrs. MacLeod co-managed Taiga Exploration, a technical advisory company to run Norrep Funds which drilled 130 wells.

 

Dwayne Vinck , CA CFO  Calgary, Alberta.  Mr. Vinck has been a Chartered Accountant since 1990. He has been CFO of Unitech since May 2007. He has been the CFO of West High Yield (W.H.Y) Resources Ltd. (TSXV - WHY ) since November 2007. He is a director of Sulfur Recovery Engineering since November 2009. From 1998 through 2004, he held various positions with Canadian subsidiaries of Hunting PLC, publically traded on the London Stock Exchange, culminating with being President of Hunting Energy Services (Canada) Ltd. from 2002 to 2004.
